Abstrakt:	The article offers information on Chŏn'gi Tale of Seventeenth-Century written by Yu Sorang chon. Topics discussed include the collection includes eight chŏn'gi (tales of wonder) tales; focus of tales involves biographical formats such as biographical notes and biographies of virtuous women; and concepts of gender, virtue, marriage, and funeral culture in seventeenth-century Korean literatures.
