| Abstrakt: |
The article examines key challenges that make findings questionable in a study by Cherkin et al on the effects of two types of massage and usual care on chronic low back pain which was published in "Annals of Internal Medicine." Review of facets of the study showed encouraging results from the use of massage for low back pain., However, the study also reflects cases where intentions, credentials and publication authority may not always translate into quality methods or results. |
