Abstrakt: mixed ionic-electronic conducting Cu2V2O7 - 20 wt% CuV2O6 molten oxide membrane (MOM) material has been studied with respect to its transport properties. The conductivity, oxygen ion transport number, oxygen flux and selectivity were measured at 650.690.C. In the range of investigated thicknesses 1.2.3.4 mm, the MOM material operates under mixed control of the surface exchange and diffusion kinetics at 650.670.C. The oxygen permeability and selectivity, surface exchange coefficient, and characteristic thickness have been determined as, 1.0.10-9 mol cm-1 s-1, 2.0.10-3, 3.3.10.-6 cm s-1 and 6.2.10-2 cm, respectively. The MOM material shows promise for use in oxygen separation technology [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
