Abstrakt: This article describes the methodology for developing green software. Green software refers to a computer program that consumes less power when performing it. Comparison of power consumption is performed with other programs in which similar algorithms are implemented. The process of developing green software is to choose the most optimal program code for energy consumption. The advantage of the proposed methodology is the possibility of its application in the early stages of software development, since only the source code of the program is used to estimate energy consumption. Based on the source code, the type of CPU and RAM, the energy consumed only by the RAM of the computing device is estimated.
