| Abstrakt: | An interview with South African artist and painter Marlene Dumas is presented. Among the issues she discussed include her exhibition "Myths & Mortals," whose subject was the relationship between two figures, the goddess Venus and the beautiful adolescent boy Adonis, her interest in poetry and how reading William Shakespeare's poem "Venus and Adonis" helped her with her project, and the difference of her drawings of mouths or kissing. |
