Eradication of chlamydia in animals is possible only through vaccination. Due to weak immunogenic activity of chlamydial antigens, it becomes necessary to use adjuvants while producing vaccines. According to previously developed technology (patent RF No2301682 dated 06.2007), emulsion-based vaccine against chlamydia was made using three different adjuvants: two of which were prepared by known methods, and the third one was prepared by our original method proposed for the first time in this study. Thus, the paper presents the results of testing 3 variants of inactivated emulsion-based vaccine against chlamydia in cattle. It is established that all tested adjuvants form stable emulsions with chlamydial antigen. Vaccines made on their basis are sterile and safe for laboratory animals and showed significant differences in viscosity, reactogenicity and antigenic activity of the tested biological products.
