The article discusses a study on the significance of film-screen conventional principles of exposure selection in direct digital radiography (DDR) as well as the exposure latitude of the DDR system. Topics mentioned include the ways that technologists can use to set exposure factors in the clinical environment, the impact of milliampere second (mAs) on image exposure, the use of the deviation index (DI) value as indicator of overexposure, and what the 15% rule represents in DDR. |
