Abstrakt: | The problems of internal control of the United States' military forces during the Vietnam War include drug use, avoidance of combat, war crimes, and the assassination of superiors or fragging. This paper puts these deviant behaviors in a theoretical perspective. Etzioni's Compliance Theory (1975) is employed as a partial explanation of deviant behaviors which are associated with the Vietnam War. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
