In this article we look at the benefits and drawbacks of Web-based instruction in a hospitality education setting, and compare Web-based instruction to traditional class- room instruction. Despite the fact that Web-based instruction may not be perfect and may not be for everyone, it is safe to assume that it is here to stay. Educational institutions that do not consider the Web as a valid alternative to traditional classroom instruction run the risk of losing significant market share. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
