The article discusses the decision by the U.S. government to remove endangered species protections for grizzly bears at Yellowstone National Park and return management authority outside the national parks to the states of Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. Topics include delisting of the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem (NCDE) grizzlies starting 2018, how the Endangered Species Act (ESA) saved the grizzlies, and several cases of grizzly attacks on humans. |
