Human mind commonly use two ordering systems to help one function in this world. First, the spatial system, which is usually centered in the right side of the brain and helps one perceive spatial patterns, such as features of another person's face. Second, the sequential system, which is usually centered in the left side of the brain and help one process information that must be kept in a particular order. Human brain's ability to create a sequential system allows one to perform activities that must be done in a particular order. Computer program can provide opportunities for children with learning disorders to practice sequencing activities. A special education teacher may work individually with a student to help him manage his school schedule and assigned homework projects. |
