Abstrakt: An essay is presented arguing that artist Andy Warhol and his choreographed assistants created works in which male sex organs were represented as mark-making tools. Focusing on Warhol's Oxidation Paintings, the author suggests that Warhol expressed a queer masculinity in his work reflective of his own fluid gender identity.
