Abstrakt:	This article discusses the complaint of Peruvian native Martín Pongo against the alcalde (mayor) Martín Poma in 1580 in the Audiencia de Charcas. The author comments on the details of the complaint, which focuses on the possession of llamas belonging to Pongo in the encomienda of Tapacarí. Excerpts from legal documents relating to the issue are also provided.
