The article examines the application of Montessori method for children with learning differences, including dyslexia, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, communication disorders, intellectual deficiencies and autism. It outlines the techniques that can be used by Montessori educators to help children with learning differences when usual presentation is not helping. These include reducing the difficulty of an activity, using more tactile-kinesthetic input, and creating control charts. |
