Abstrakt:	The article offers information on the axiom in health behavior prevention programming proposes that all interventions to change health-compromising behaviors of individuals be based on applicable and relevant theory. Topics discussed include observation of high teenage pregnancy rate in the U.S.; information on major health behavior theory; and information on the Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) as well as the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB).
