The percentage of electricity produced from renewable sources increased significantly in recent years. However, photovoltaic panels have a low efficiency (15-18%). Current and future concerns focus on performance increase correlated with a low price cost for the photovoltaic panels. The most common method of increasing the energy production of photovoltaic panels is based on tracking systems. The paper presents an experimental model of tracking system for photovoltaic panels pneumatic driven by a programmable logic controller. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
