The article focuses on the role of the National Maternity and Perinatal Audit (NMPA) in evaluating in proving maternity care. Topics discussed include identification of good practice and areas for improvement in maternity care; components of NMPA programmer such as continuous audit of maternity care processes, conducting survey for mapping maternity service provision, and short audits on specific topics; and the steps taken by NMPA in providing such care. |
