| Abstrakt: | The article presents the author's perspectives on the efforts of local community colleges in creating and sustaining strong relationship with the federal government in order to expand its innovative programs and fundings for community education. The author cites the importance for community college trustees in focusing on advocacy in budgets and managing of college education. She also outlines the importance of federal aid to higher education to local community colleges. |
