The article is devoted to questions connected with experimental researches of ships models. Two problems connected with the definition of resistance at movement of a ship in liquid are considered. The first problem is the definition of resistance while testing small models in small test tanks. It is necessary to execute turbulization of stream in a special way and recalculation of results on nature. The movement of icebreaker model is researched. The second problem is the definition of resistance on basis of theory of similarity not similar but analogous bodies. The idea consists of recalculation of results on nature from not similar model, but likeness (analogous). The movement of ellipsoidal models is researched.
