Abstrakt:	The article presents a profile of the Digitales Archiv Nord digital archives society formed as a cooperative between the northern German state archives of Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, and Schleswig-Holstein. The adoption of the SIMAG electronic archives periodical by the society is examined, the finance of German archives is described, and information is offered on the organizational structure of the society.
