The article discusses the importance of practical education for medical imaging and radiation therapy students. Topics include the three components of medical imaging programs, namely, didactic or classroom instruction, simulation in a laboratory, and clinical instruction with actual patients, the clinical instruction and credits required for bachelor's and associate degree programs, and the call for educators to participate in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) survey. |
