An interview with Olivier Duchenne and Sophie Eom, co-founders of Solidware, a manufacturer of machine learning (ML)-based predictive models for finance companies. When asked about the area of finance best suited for ML, she cites application of ML in the field of credit scoring. He presents his views on the hypothesis that decision makings may become more homogeneous if the financial market paricipants will use ML. She describes the barriers that may hinder the use of ML in banks. |
