The article focuses on a gunfight experience of three tough talking and hard fighting brothers, Wyatt Earp, Virgil Earp and Morgan Earp who earned their living as lawmen. Wyatt Earp had served as the assistant city marshal of Dodge City, Kansas. He and his brothers had migrated to Tombstone by 1880. The gunfight began when one of the Earp brother's arrested an outlaw for possessing firearms. As is the case with most gunfights of the West, weapons for both sides were shotguns and pistols. Amongst the Earp brothers only Wyatt remained untouched, the outlaws were shot dead and Wyatt earned the reputation of being one of the fiercest gunfighters in the West. INSET: Untitled. |
