The current conditions in the Romanian economy needs to find answers to problems such as increasing variety of companies participating in economic life on the one hand and managers on the other. To be able to adapt to these permanent changes, Romanian entities must be sufficiently flexible and innovative in order to maintain the products and services, to provide maximum quality for the customer and not least in order to meet deadlines and to maintain the market. The aim and the objective of the study is to identify and clarify major theoretical issues related to restructuring strategies, identify the main ways of restructuring in order to develop or removal from the market of bad companies, as well as an analysis of the evolution of these restructuring operations nationally and internationally.
