Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study of 25 pre-service teachers with the use of an interview protocol that comprised contextualized and decontextualized tasks which included graphical or analytical representations. It shows that only five of 25 students were able to identify a viable interpretation of the inverse function they determined analytically in a contextual situation, even though each of the 25 students applied a consistent technique in analytic, decontextualized tasks. |
