Abstrakt: |
The efficacy of Chrysoperla zastrowi sillemi @ 3000 and 5000 eggs/ac, Neem cake @ 80 kg/ac, alone or in combination with both Chrysoperla zastrowi sillemi and Neem cake and recommended dose of Dimethoate 30EC (0.10%)applied 15 and 25 days after pruning, was studied with farmers field to find a more sustainable strategy for the management of thrips in mulberry. The treatments were compared two times during the two seasons (February 2014 - April 2014 and May-2014 to July 2014 and to a control with no pesticide application. Applications of either the recommended dose of the synthetic pesticides Dimethoate 30 EC (0.10 %) or C.zastrowi sillemi 3000 eggs, 5000 eggs and both C. zastrowi sillemi 3000 eggs in combinations with a neemcake @ 80kg/ac were most effective in reducing thrips incidence and damage in both the seasons.
