The article discusses several factors to consider when applying Kinesiology tape (K-tape) with regard to its elastic and stretch characteristics. It mentions the use of K-tape in rehabilitation and performance settings as an ergogenic aid in the recovery process, the determination of the strength length and accompanying tensile force of the K-tape, and some factors to consider in the practical application of K-tape which include tape integrity, adhesion factor and shelf life. |
