Abstrakt: The article presents case studies of two female infants with gastroschisis and the absence of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) for its management. Topics discussed include the prevention of complications such as necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), intra-abdominal compartment syndrome, and mesenteric infarct, the importance of prognostic indicators such as amniotic fluid beta-endorphin (AFBE), and the importance of intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) measurement .
