Abstrakt:	The article looks at the concerns surrounding the reliability of the data released by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) about the number of foreign travelers who overstayed their visas and remain in the country. It highlights the report by the Government Accountability Office which track the efforts of DHS to produce an overstay report, noting the call for a biometric exit system to keep track of visitors. Obstacles in the implementation of a biometric expert system are noted.
