Abstrakt: Variations on the concept of "revolution" are impelled by the hope and desire that they shall make this important subject fully articulated by removing some mystifications and reconstituting the contents, thereafter. It is further visualized that some of these issues are entangled in some methodological confusions which may also be eliminated through critical analysis. The elements of society, like structure of political power, system of economy or framework of relations of production social stratification of classes and ideology of these classes or means of production consisting of technological skills, tools, or information shall be reviewed. Revolution, rebellion, decolonisation , war of liberation and quite a few other terms denote pervasive upheavals ordinarily accompanied by large-scale transformations of authority, power and its attendant organised apparatus of governance. Violence often accompanies the large-scale structure changes, but need not necessarily precede such macroerestructuring of a society in ferment. Revolution expresses itself in the recast of entire society such as modem world was born through enlightenment renaissance and reform of Catholic Christianity at the end of medieval European feudal system. Likewise seventeen &giuynine termination of ancient regime marked the birth pangs of an era of republicanism, which despite several regressions since, has reached and marked itself out to be at a new stage of historical experience.
