Abstrakt: The article focuses on history of Indian Banjara tribal communities and mentions trade of textiles by them. Topics discussed include Ghorboli, a language used by the Banjara communities, their significance in trade of animals geometric organisation in Banjara textiles, use of mirror works in them, 'pulia', a small piece of textile used to cover head and neck by Banjara people, and production of various quality of embroideries.
