The article focuses on the study of the southern yellow bat called Lasiurus ega which is a species that roosts in dead fronds of palm trees. It mentions that its geographic range extends from southern Texas, along the Gulf Coast of Mexico, to Central and South America and Argentina. It mentions that the bat was found alive in a shipping container filled with automobile parts that was delivered to a supplier in Roscommon, Michigan. |
