Abstrakt: The article discusses on gravy which enhances a meal. Topics mentioned include the definition which depends on the region where the gravy is served, the thickening which uses cornstarch, cornmeal or flour, and the thin gravies whic are used for breads and biscuits while the traditional thick gravy is made with roux or cooked fat and flour.
