Abstrakt:	The author discusses aspects about the U.S. strategy to defeat the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant. Topics include the not well organized Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga in June 2014 which they had multiple command chains at the time of the fall of Mosul, Iraq, the recruit of undercut extremist to disaffected Sunni Arab population, and the various tribal figures in Anbar and Hawija, Iraq.
