This study develops a survey to evaluate innovation practices inside firms as well as the individual entrepreneurial competencies belonging to the employees of those firms. With these survey results, this study also proposes to use Hofstede's dimensions of culture in the analysis of innovation across countries and the role culture may have on both innovation practices inside firms as well as the value and use of entrepreneurial competencies by individuals inside these firms. We expand previous studies by utilizing information at both the firm and individual level. This study will examine companies in The United States, Canada, Germany, Austria, India, Finland, Poland, Bulgaria, China and Japan. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
