Abstrakt:	The article discusses the economic benefits of the hydropower plants as renewable sources of energy for the homeowners, wildlife, tourism and recreational activities. It highlights the minimal flow system of the water to generate power for electrical usage. It also examines the impact of the minimum flow projects to the environment.
