Abstrakt: The article is an overview of emerging developments in colored cotton production. Increasing requirements for infrastructural development and ecological awareness in research have resulted in a steady global demand for colored cotton. Colored cotton is becoming an eco-friendly solution to cost and environmental concerns have accompanied the traditional dyeing process. There is an important relation between yarn quality and color intensity. Emerging methods of spinning and manufacturing show promise.
