An essay is presented which discusses the views of the late American law professor Alan Bromberg regarding securities fraud regulation and litigation, and it mentions Bromberg's legacy and securities law-related class action proceedings in the U.S. involving the use by plaintiffs' law firms of portfolio-monitoring agreements with institutional investors and pension funds. The efforts to curb frivolous litigation in America are examined, along with legal cases dealing with securities-fraud. |
