The author discusses a medical mission in which the students and program director Walt Wilson of the Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi responded to a call for supplies for a respiratory program at the University of Ghana in Accra. She recalls how the group reached out to other schools for supplies, the promotion of the medical mission in the local newspaper and via a presentation and keeping in touch with Wilson to establish friendship and for future collaborations. |
