In this article, the author comments that the use of technology in education is beneficial. Topics include technology allowing teachers to motivate and engage students, improvement in collaboration between teachers through technology, web-based curriculum management system, Atlas introduced by the Canadian Academy of Dental Health and Community Sciences (CADH), reduction in passive learning through the concept called flipped classroom and the use of technology in dental hygiene education. |
