Abstrakt:	We report a patient with inflammatory myoblastic tumor of the uterus with constitutional symptoms. Surgical excision was curative and brought a rapid normalization in the elevated serum level of interleukin-6. We revealed an overproduction of interleukin-6 by a detection of messenger RNA by use of reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemistry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
