| Abstrakt: | The article examines the life and work of the American artist Don Stone, who passed away in 2015. Topics examined include how he honed his craft by copying periodical illustrations, his studies in art at Gloucester High School in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and his time spent teaching at the Vesper George School. The exhibition "Don Stone, N.A., Retrospective," on view at the Rockport Art Association in Rockport, Massachusetts, from November 21st through December 31, 2015 is also noted. |
