The article discusses the maximum overload training (Max-OT), an intense weight training program developed by Paul Delia which revolves around the idea of exercising using heavy weights at low repetitions, low volume and short workouts. It states that Max-OT rose to prominence when bodybuilders Skip LaCour and Jeff Willet won the 2002 Team Universe bodybuilding championships. It also mentions that every set needs to be heavy and every workout needs to brief in order for Max-OT to be effective. |
