Technical textiles are divided into 12 segments & Sportech is one of them. Artificial Turf, Sports accessories/functional Sportech product comes under the Sportech segment. In India, Sportech is growing rapidly & becoming popular. Sportech is a branch of technical textiles which are used in sports and leisure such as sportswear & shoes, sports equipment, sailing sports, climbing, Cycling i.e., outdoor & indoor sports. Further, Sport textiles can be categorized into three i.e. sportswear, Sport goods & accessories. Nowadays, sophisticated technologies are used in technical textile to produce different sport products. The present paper focuses on the sport accessories. Sport accessories are the passive sport items for specific sport & provide requisite playing conditions. Sport nets are categorized as sport accessories.
