| Abstrakt: | A biography of Patrick Califia, an advocate of sadomasochism and pornography, is presented. A background on the Mormon childhood of Califia is provided. It highlights Califia's involvement in the lesbian separatist movement, as well as his writings which are categorized into non-fiction, fiction and poetry, and advice columns. The decision of Califia to undergo gender reassignment in 1999 is also discussed. |
