The article discusses how coaches can give effective and motivating feedback to athletes. Canadian sports experts Penny Werthner, Wayne Elderton and Kirsten Barnes offer advice to coaches. Werthner advised coaches to avoid fear-based coaching. Barnes suggests to focus on the real purpose of feedback. Coaches are also advised to understand their athletes by listening to them and asking them questions. |
