The article explores on the importance of web tension control for both the runnability of the machine and the quality of the product. It examines the impact of several factors to the quality of tension control including environment, tension measurement and tension control. It cites the benefits of web tension control which help improve web handling during machine speed changes for directional variations of the paper. |
