The article presents a study on the effect of methotrexate (MTX) on the cerebellar development in infant rats. Topics include the treatment of 6-day-old rats with intraperitoneal methotrexate injections and an examination of the cerebellum, a comparison of the results between the methotrexate-treated group with a control group in various days after treatment (DAT), and how MTX exposure on postnatal day 6 results in cerebellar hypoplasia. |
