The article discusses research which examined the engineering and mechanical behavior of grade X80 steel pipeline in both the longitudinal and circumferential directions. Topics discussed include the strain-based design (SBD) of pipelines with emphasis on the tensile strain capacity of microalloyed steel pipeline and SBD models based on classical plasticity theory. |
