Abstrakt: The authors' survey of undergraduate nursing students and registered nurse graduate students working in medical settings reveals their perceptions of which methods of medical translation are actually used, how frequently, and how effectively. The results also make apparent some of the measures that the medical profession needs to take in order to improve its mandated communication with patients who have little or no English.
